First detail

Second detail

working on final detail:
I will upload it as soon as it begins to be coherent enough, but here is my concerns:
-sustainability: REduce/REcicle/REuse
The project could be quite easy to build using the tecnology used in everyplace as the turism could be easier the way it's now. But our project tries to go beyond it, it tries to incorporate sustainability to the concept. I want to elaborate a self-sufficient project, based on the culture of wine and the place, taking from the site all  materials.
I´m trying to recicle every material removed on the process with the objetive of null waste:
-earth digged would be part of the structure wall (maybe used like a concrete adding some natural cement)
-barrels would give wood for the final surface, and also iron to make it stronger. (all this material needs some treatment before, because its going to be outside)

  1. Hi Alvaro,
Maybe you can make this bench foldable so the barrels can stay as barrels when they're not being used. So you can make a visual reference to "keep the memory" as it says on your second image and also create a transformable element. Good luck!

  2. Hi Alvaro,
maybe you can find a better solution to put the bottle of wine and the glass...maybe a little space to put them in a more secure position...
    Good work

  3. For me this is a good idea. I do agree with Michael, there may be a good way to use the design with a glass holder or wine bottle holder and cooler? I also think that from an ergonomic point, the point at which the barrels meet could be rounded so as not to create an edge but a curve.

    Good Work

  4. What I really like in your project is the concept of reusing all the stuff of the house, so, as Ziba has said, use the benches and the barrels at the same time, don't forsake them neither the materials of the surroundings!

    Good work!

  5. Álvaro, I really like the idea of your project, reuse and recycle the elements of the site to generate a furniture, a landscape, is a solid foundation upon which to continue working. Coexistence that acquires the project seems a very positive point. Cheer up!

  6. Through the study the evolution of my detail I have learned that the context in which to insert the object is very important. Often size and shape must change in order to better relate the object configured with the space in which it is inserted. I advise you to study and develop your idea also in relation to the context.
